From Campofelice beach it is possible to witness a quite rare natural spectacle: the green ray. It is an optical phenomenon visible on summer evenings when, at sunset, the sun radiates a green light beam that remains in the sky for a few seconds, long enough to distinguish it from the reddish light on which it stands out.
